Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Aaroora when you use aaroora.com or books.aaroora.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Aaroora provides GST-ready invoicing, billing, and accounting software for Indian businesses — including web and mobile apps, WhatsApp sharing, UPI payment links, and CA export tools. We may update features at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to operate a business in India to use the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at hello@aaroora.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Free tier and paid plans

Free tier: Up to 100 invoices per month, forever, no credit card required.

Paid plans: Unlimited invoicing on paid plans. Pricing may change with 30 days' notice. All payments processed in INR through Razorpay.

5. Free trial

New paid sign-ups include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before the trial ends at no charge.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime from account settings — you revert to the free tier at the end of your billing period and keep all your data. Full refund available if you cancel within 7 days of a paid charge and haven't exceeded 100 invoices. Email hello@aaroora.com for refunds.

7. Your data

You own all invoice, customer, and business data you create. Export it anytime in CSV or PDF format. We provide a data export on request for 30 days after account closure.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: create fraudulent invoices, misrepresent your GSTIN, violate Indian law, reverse-engineer the Service, or resell it without written permission. We may suspend or terminate violating accounts without refund.

9. GST compliance

Aaroora helps you generate GST-compliant invoices, but you are solely responsible for accuracy of your GSTIN, HSN codes, tax rates, and filing obligations. Consult a qualified CA for complex matters.

10. Intellectual property

The Aaroora name, logo, and software (excluding your data) are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

Aaroora's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith email resolution for at least 30 days before legal proceedings.

13. Changes

We'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
